Sweet sweet portraits of these two little girls who have gone over the rainbow bridge only a month apart.  Using color to convey that one of them was brown and the other was white without actually making one brown and one white, was, a challenge.  Of course I work from photographs, but I think the brushwork as well as the color pallets help to convey the mild character of one of them and the poise of the other.

There aren't really any detail shots because these paintings are pretty small.
