Painted on top of a dusty pink underpainting, Sisters in a Bathtub is the first piece with nudes of the series.  It was very satisfying to finally be painting a lot of skin to match the faces.

I usually blur out the background but in this one I thought it would be quite quirky to show that it was a bathroom.  The tiles are iridescent and shiny, which can only be appreciated when seeing the painting from different angles and lighting.

The overall sweet color pallet is reminiscent of space and aliens.
