Lol what happened here is that I loved the underpainting too much to cover it.  I therefore painted everything to make contrast with it in order to be able to keep it.  I then embellished it with a playful ​pattern reminiscent of kids room's decoration in a clear/iridescent paint, and embroidered frosted clear glass seed beads using pink, light blue, and golden thread.  There are some pretty good detail shots below.  Also here is a link to a reel that I posted on Instagram, which people have really enjoyed.
